Bridget Sova is a board-certified music therapist who works at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. Bridget attended Ohio University, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy in 2014. Following her time at Ohio University, Bridget completed an internship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Bridget launched the music therapy program at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in March of 2015. Since then, she has enjoyed working throughout the hospital with a focus in NICU, PICU and inpatient Hem/Onc. Bridget has presented at several regional and national conferences and her recent projects include collaborations with the Grand Rapids Symphony and research in music therapy interventions for pain management.
